E Komo Mai, welcome to the Hawaiian and Indigenous Health and Healing programs! We offer a 4-year Bachelor of Applied Science as well as a stand-alone, 18-credit Certificate program. Both programs give students a foundation in the social, cultural, and historical determinants of Hawaiian and Indigenous health as well as introduces them to three of the main traditional Hawaiian healing modalities: hoʻoponopono, lomilomi, and laʻau lapaʻau.
Give to the UHWO HIHH Scholarship
Your generous donation to the UHWO HIHH Scholarship will be managed by the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation. Each year one HIHH student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist with expenses related to their education.
