Stalking Awareness

National Stalking Awareness month is January. UH West O`ahu will be recognizing National Stalking Awareness in a weekly series shared by the Compliance Hui beginning January 2025. This series will provide resources to identify and seek help if you or someone you know is experiencing stalking.

Did you know that stalking is a crime in all 50 states, which is defined as engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety, the safety of others, or cause substantial emotional distress.

Resource will be shared for stalking awareness for students and educators so please follow the Compliance Hui Instagram page.

Yellow is the official color for National Stalking Awareness Month.

The yellow rings around campus is to remind students, faculty, and staff it is National Stalking Awareness month. Yellow represents Stalking.
