The 2024 hurricane season began June 1, and forecasters with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Central Pacific Hurricane Center said the Hawai​​ʻi region could see fewer than normal tropical cyclones.

Calendar of Events

Monday, July 1

  • First day of instruction for summer session II
  • Fresh produce pickup (while supplies last) with Food Vault Hawaiʻi West, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nāulu Center. UH West Oʻahu students must present their UH ID card or UH username.

Tuesday, July 2

  • Deadline for instructors to submit summer session I grades
  • Last day to add or register and change grading option for summer session II
  • Last day to drop (summer session II classes) with 100% refund, no “W” grade for summer session II

Wednesday, July 3

  • Summer session I grades available on STAR by noon

Thursday, July 4

  • HOLIDAY: Independence Day
