WASC Senior College and University Commission Accreditation News
Great news! The WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) reaffirmed UH West Oʻahu accreditation for a period of eight years in a Commission Action Letter dated July 11, 2022. Congratulations to the campus and a special mahalo to the 2022 Accreditation Reaffirmation Steering Committee team, led by Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Accreditation Liaison Officer Alan Rosenfeld.

Upcoming restroom closures in A Building
The men’s and women’s restrooms on the first floor of the Administration and Health Sciences (A) Building, Health Sciences wing will be closed for maintenance as follows: July 11-12, men’s; July 12-13, women’s; and July 18-19, all gender.

NSTA welcomes Jones as new board member
The University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu’s Dr. Richard Jones has been elected to the Board of Directors for the National Science Teaching Association and will represent Post-Secondary Science Teaching for the organization.
Fall 2022 student bus pass sale starts July 18
University of Hawaiʻi-West Oʻahu students who ride TheBus are eligible to purchase a U-Pass, a reduced-rate bus pass tailored to the needs of university students.
