Lemonade, popcorn, and poke — oh, my!

University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students are welcome to unwind as the semester winds down at Semester Destressor, a Student Activity Fee Board (SAFB) event featuring fun activities and tasty treats from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in C-225 and the C Building upstairs loft.

“Semester Destressor is an opportunity for students to relax before finals week!” said Olivia Chung, SAFB lead student event coordinator. “We are having several activities that students can enjoy, such as arts and crafts, games, and even a movie.”

“Lemonade Mouth,” a 2011 Disney Channel Original Movie, begins at 4 p.m. But the activities, including painting and card games, and food will be available the whole event or while supplies last. There will be poke bowls, poke nachos, a popcorn bar with toppings from ‘Ōlino by Consolidated Theatres, and of course lemonade, courtesy of Main Squeeze Lemonade.

“We hope that our activities will encourage student engagement and strengthen the connections at West O‘ahu,” Chung said.

Please note the event is for UH West O‘ahu students only; please have your student ID ready for check-in. RSVP here. For more information or any questions, email safbwo@hawaii.edu.
