The University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu Student Organic Garden presents ‘Āina-to-‘Ōpū Workshop: Kimchi, an event from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the Student Organic Garden/Hale Kūahuokalā.
The workshop will be held after the garden’s community workday, which is from 8 to 11 a.m. At this hands-on workday, volunteers can join the māla (garden) crew to help care for the māla. Participants should bring reusable water bottles, use sun protection, and wear close-toed shoes.
Both the workday and the workshop are open to UH West O‘ahu students, faculty, and staff, and participants are welcome and encouraged to attend both. To RSVP or for more information, email tasiay@hawaii.edu.
