Build your own teddy bear, snack on sweet treats, learn about Heart Month, and more at Bears and Bouquets, an early Valentine’s Day celebration for University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, in C-208.

The event is presented by UH West O‘ahu’s Student Activity Fee Board (SAFB), in collaboration with Campus Health Services and the Compliance Hui.

Students at the event can make their own stuffed animal. Participants can pick an animal from a collection of bears, dogs, dinosaurs, dragons, frogs, and more (one per student while supplies last), then show it off by snapping a pic at a photo booth.

Students can also create a message in a bottle, enjoy fresh cotton candy, and get a rose.

In honor of Heart Month, there will be heart-healthy snacks, such as a make-your-own-trail mix station. Stop by to learn more about heart health.

The UH West O‘ahu Compliance Hui will also be there, handing out cupcakes, presenting a card-making activity, and spreading awareness about domestic/dating violence.

You must be a UH West O‘ahu student to attend, so please have your student ID ready at checkin. Everything is while supplies last.
