Commemorate the Year of the Dragon with a Lunar New Year Celebration, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu’s Outdoor Learning Space.

UH West O‘ahu students are welcome to stop by to explore how different cultures celebrate Lunar New Year. Students can enjoy free food and drinks, paint a fan or lantern to take home, and feed a Chinese lion for good luck! The Chinese lion dance performance will begin at 12:20 p.m.

Attendees must be UH West O‘ahu students. For more information or any questions, email the UH West O‘ahu Student Activity Fee Board (SAFB) at safbwo@hawaii.edu and follow @safbwo and @uhwostudentlife on Instagram for updates and reminders for future events.
