Take the time to relax as the end of the semester and the holidays near at Paws for Coffee, 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 21, in the lobby of the James & Abigail Campbell Library at the University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu.

The popular event returns and welcomes students, faculty, and staff, and the general public, to de-stress and enjoy a cup of coffee and snacks while spending time with therapy dogs from the Alliance for Therapy Dogs – Hawai‘i Chapter.

“I encourage our UH West O‘ahu community, especially students, to stop by because it’s been proven that petting a dog lowers your blood pressure,” said Kawena Komeiji, Hawaiian Pacific Resources Librarian at the James & Abigail Campbell Library.

The Paws for Coffee event has been hosted since 2015 by the library, which has been working with the Alliance for Therapy Dogs – Hawai‘i Chapter since 2017. For more information, call 808-689-2700 or email uhwolib@hawaii.edu.
