University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students can relax and center themselves during midterms at West & Welaxation, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and Thursday, Oct. 12, at the No‘eau Center in A-224.

Students are encouraged to attend the in-person event — before, between, or after classes — to hang out with their friends and No‘eau Center student leaders, and to melt their worries away with fun activities and free treats.

“Relieve the stress of midterms through enjoying crafts and snacks in community with others,” said Dr. Robyn Tasaka, director of the No‘eau Center. “We’ve brought back canvas and tote bag painting and mini Lego sets that students have loved in the past, and added new activities including temporary tattoos and a puzzle activity.”

West & Welaxation is sponsored by the UH West O‘ahu Student Activity Fee Board. For more information about the event, contact the No‘eau Center at 808-689-2750 or uhwowc@hawaii.edu.
