Update, March 31: Advisors will not be seeing students on Good Friday, April 7, which is a holiday.
Registration is starting soon for the summer and fall semesters at the University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu, so it’s time for students to Spring Into Reg!
UH West O‘ahu’s Advising Team will be providing students with pre-registration assistance via All-Day Express Advising (virtual 15-minute walk-ins) as part of the Spring Into Reg! campaign.
Advisors will be seeing students March 28 until April 10 (not on Good Friday, April 7, which is a holiday) — from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; the last advising session is at 4:15 p.m. All continuing UH West O‘ahu students can go to STAR Balance — bit.ly/advkiosk — on those days and times to see any advisor for help.
“Getting your classes early and on time for the next semester is key to having an enjoyable and successful academic year,” said Joe Mareko, College Success Advisor and Admissions Officer at UH West O‘ahu.
He continued, “Students who meet with us in an Express Advising session (virtual unscheduled walk-ins), can expect to secure their schedule and that will allow them to chill out, take it easy, and enjoy their summer without panicking over limited seats.”
Students can also win raffle prizes for meeting with an advisor during Spring Into Reg!; max one entry per student.
“Come by and let’s talk story about your summer and fall,” Mareko said.
