If you’re interested in STEM careers, then attend the next Math + Science + X Seminar, “Career Development with Actalent,” for advice on leveraging LinkedIn, building relationships to expand career opportunities, and navigating the job market within the sciences.

The seminar is from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, at the University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu campus in D-140 or via Zoom; meeting ID is 985 3563 7434 and passcode is MSX2022.

Event presenters are engineering and sciences recruiters Romel Gaspar and Ben Likio from Actalent, an engineering and sciences services and talent solutions organization.

Math + Science + X seminars help Mathematics, Natural, and Health Sciences faculty at the UH West O‘ahu promote fascinating, interesting, and current topics that are happening in STEM. STEM community members around the island, mainland, and within the university are invited to give presentations. Each seminar is geared to introduce UH West O‘ahu undergraduates, faculty, staff, and interested community members to a variety of research and career development or opportunities.

“Career Development with Actalent” is open to UH West O‘ahu students, faculty, and staff, and to the general public. For more information, email ogeorge@hawaii.edu.
