Joe Mareko is a College Success Advisor at UH West Oʻahu. Joe grew up in Waipahu and graduated from Nānākuli High School, and now calls Mililani home. He is a UH West Oʻahu alumni, and earned his BA-Public Administration degree in Justice Administration and continued his education at UH Mānoa where he earned his Masters in Public Administration. Joe has been serving at UH West Oʻahu since 2013 and has served as a Faculty Specialist since 2018 and currently teaches Public Administration and Student Development courses. He is passionate about serving his community through education, relationship building, and storytelling.

Along with serving as an advisor for Public Administration and Creative Media students, Joe has also taught several Student Leadership courses and Public Administration - PUBA 103 sections.

Joe also is heavily engaged with UHWO outreach and recruitment efforts at both traditional and non-traditional levels with an emphasis on guiding students through the college entry process.
