
Carina Chernisky was born on O‘ahu and raised in Mililani. She studied Communication at Lewis & Clark College, then returned home to earn her Master's in Library & Information Science from the UH Mānoa. Passionate about the role that libraries play in communities and in education, Carina came to the UH West O‘ahu Library following three years at Leeward Community College Library. In her free time, Carina likes to read, catch up on her favorite tv shows, and hike to hidden gems around the island.
