Venues
Our event venues are modern, spacious, and equipped to handle today’s latest technological requirements. We even have some unique outdoor spaces that are perfect for certain events. Our staff is expertly trained to ensure that every logistical and technical aspect of your unique event runs smoothly – from the set-up of your meeting room to the proper functioning of your audio-visual equipment.
UHWO’s experienced Food Services & Events staff works with a variety of vendors and support resources to make sure every aspect of your event is a success. From small informational tabling to large concert type student events, our FSE staff is her to ensure all UHWO policies are adhered to and that all federal, state, and CDC regulations are in compliance.
Multi-Purpose Room
Our Multi-Purpose Room (C208) is outfitted with panoramic windows and vaulted ceilings that offer natural light and mountain views. Equipped with automated shades to accommodate audio visual presentations, the Multi-Purpose Ballroom is a beautiful and functional venue suitable for academic, business and social events. At 3,840 square feet, recommended seating capacity is 200 guests, banquet style.
Outdoor Spaces
The Courtyard and Great Lawn are at the heart and focal point of the campus and can be the perfect location to host open air events of 3,000.
Classrooms, Conference Rooms, & Computer Labs
Classrooms, Conference Rooms and Computer Labs seating capacities range from 5 to 48 persons. Located in our A, B and D Building, these rooms may be requested after our Academic Schedules are solidified. Target dates for each semester are Sept 1 for Fall, June 1 for Summer, and February 1 for Spring.
Dining Hall
Our Dining Hall (C110) is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (subject to change). Outside normal operating hours, the Dining Hall may be used as a venue in conjunction with food & beverages provided by our on-campus vendor.
Academy for Creative Media
The new Academy for Creative Media building has 3 classrooms, 1 conference room, and an outdoor viewing/seating area available for Faculty/Staff use.
Other
Other spaces like the Naulu Center, Outdoor Learning Space, and the Hale Kuahuokala and Student Organic Garden is available for booking through their respective departments.
