Whether it is taking your other half on a date, going out with your friends or family, you just want to be able to do these things. There are many opportunities to do things with them without going into further debt. Show the people you love in life how much they mean to you, but be fiscally smart! Here are some ways you can celebrate this special day:
Your significant other: restaurants and movie theaters are packed during the week of Valentine’s day, so taking your consider staying at home. If you’ve got a streaming service subscription like Hulu or Netflix, pick out a couple movies you can watch together and be comfortable in your own home laying on the couch. Your friends: use the environment to your favor! There’s a lot of places you can to with your friends for free-99. Whether it’s morning, dusk or evening, hiking is a fun free thing to do. At each time of the day, the beautiful scenery will be different no matter what time you go. If you’re not much of the hiking type, you can have a picnic at the beach! Take a dip, soak up the sun, and have fun in the sand. Spending quality time doing activities like this, allow for stronger friendships and bonds to form. Your family: consider staying in and opting to have a game night. It can be as simple as setting up a sweet line-up of board games such as Pictionary, or Scrabble.
