Attending a Concert?

Did you know that when you go to a symphony orchestra concert, you have an important job to do? The musicians on stage practice many hours to create something amazing — and they need you, the listener in the audience, to help make the magic happen! Great listeners use their whole body to listen: eyes on the performers, ears wide open, mouths silent, and hands quietly waiting until the conductor’s arms signal the time to applaud. When everyone works together – the musicians on stage and the listeners in the audience – the whole concert experience feels magical. How can you do your part, from the moment you arrive at the concert hall, to the moment it’s time to leave and say “a hui hou”?
