Songwriters’ Open Mic

Kinetic energy abounds when a song is shared for the first time.  Sign up here for a spot to share your new creation, or just come enjoy the exciting ride as tomorrow’s artists share their new songs. 

A LULLABY SHARING:
The Hawaiʻi Lullaby Project 2022
(6:00-8:00pm)

A sharing of original lullabies written for their keiki by youth mothers and fathers from the Mary Jane Home | Catholic Charities and Adult Friends for Youth, with collaborating artist-facilitators from Leeward Community College, Kapi’olani Community College, UH West Oʻahu, and the community. The Liliʻu Project Ensemble (Rob Cornwall, Starr Kalāhiki, John Signor, Honybal Sosa) is joined by guest musicians Ashley Bryant (UHWO Psychology ’23), Anne Craig, Precious Eligio (UHWO Psychology ’23), Analiese Esopenko, Keilana Mokulehua, Jon Magnussen, Riley Paʻakaula, and Jeff Rasmussen for this culminating Kani Kūola UH System Music Festival event.
