- UH News (June 20): “UH seeks developer for film studio, other commercial uses in West Oʻahu.” The University of Hawaiʻi is soliciting proposals from qualified developers interested in developing land adjacent to UH West Oʻahu for a private film studio and other mixed-use/commercial uses.
- UH News (June 21): “UHFCU opens new branch in Kapolei Commons.” The University of Hawaiʻi Federal Credit Union (UHFCU) held a grand opening celebration for their new branch in Kapolei Commons on June 21.
- UH News (June 23): “Celebration of wāhine filmmakers wins Emmy Award.” “Reel Wāhine of Hawaiʻi,” a local television show about Hawaiʻi filmmakers, won an Emmy Award on June 3. The show, co-produced by Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu lecturer Vera Zambonelli, and Shirley Thompson, won in the category Historical/Cultural—News or Long Form Content.
