UH Community Colleges and UH Hilo move to Lamakū for spring 2025

A message from UH Information Technology Services in an email dated Dec. 2:

The University of Hawaiʻi Information Technology Services is excited to announce the move to our new Learning Management System (LMS), Lamakū, this spring 2025 semester for many classes at the UH Community Colleges and UH Hilo. Classes at UH Mānoa and UH West Oʻahu will use Lamakū beginning summer 2025.

In December, youʻll start to see information in STAR designating which LMS your instructor has decided to use for your classes. Additionally, in January, you will receive an email with this information included.

Lamakū is a modern, cloud-based LMS offering numerous advantages over our current system, Laulima. Lamakū features a mobile application, Pulse, to connect with your learning materials and notifications on the go.

Learn more about Lamakū on the Discover Lamakū website. Additional information will be coming soon from your campus.

Please direct any questions about Lamakū to UH Online at uhdl@hawaii.edu.
