Survey about textbook costs closes Feb. 9

A message from the Associated Students of the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu (ASUHWO) in an email dated Jan. 24:

We want to hear it all — the good, the bad, the ugly. Please take this short survey to let us know what you think about textbook costs and to give us a glimpse into how you use required texts. All responses are confidential. There will be a prize drawing, so several lucky students will be randomly selected to win gift cards for completing the survey.

Make your voice heard. Make your voice count.

The survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete and it will close on Friday, Feb. 9. Prize winners will be notified the following week.

For more information, contact the UHWO Open Educational Resources (OER) Committee at uhwooer@hawaii.edu and/or ASUHWO (student government) at asuhwo@hawaii.edu.

In addition, the ASUHWO Senate is seeking students to make a difference at UH West Oʻahu. Be part of the student government to advocate on behalf of student issues and concerns. Review the online candidate application for open positions. If interested, complete the online candidate application.
