Planning and Design projects begin Aug. 5

Please note the following UH West Oʻahu Planning and Design projects — campus roads and parking lot resealing, and Building C Testing Center construction — will start Aug. 5. Should you have any questions, please contact the Project Manager at 808-689-2546.

Campus roads and parking lot resealing:

The campus roads and parking lot is scheduled to be resealed and receive other improvements starting Monday, Aug. 5, and continue for a number of weeks, impacting vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The parking lots closest to campus, on both sides of the guard shack, will be closed Monday, Aug. 5, and Tuesday, Aug. 6, as part of this work. However, the expansion lot will be open for patrons to park and signage will be placed to direct traffic to the expansion lot. There will also be work starting on the campus loop road. Please heed to any signage and barricades. There also may be noise from construction vehicles and other equipment if you are within the vicinity of the work.

Building C Testing Center construction:

Construction for the Testing Center project in Campus Center C-226 is scheduled to start on Monday, Aug. 5. Access to C-226 is currently restricted to authorized personnel. Patrons in the vicinity and adjacent spaces next to and below C-226 may hear occasional construction noise. There may also be construction crews transporting equipment and materials between C-226 and the Campus Center loading dock via the elevator and the stair closest to the loading dock. Please heed to any signage and barricades.
