Mental Health Moment: Talk Story with Dr. Tia

A message from UH West Oʻahu Mental Health Services to students in an email dated Nov. 13:

Dr. Tia Hoffer, a retired Special Agent with the FBI, has dedicated her career to preventing violence and helping people recover from tragedies. She is a member of our UH West Oʻahu Mental Health Services team and has been diligently working to keep our campus safe. We are pleased to announce the Talk Story with Dr. Tia virtual forum on Fridays. These educational sessions are delivered in a small group, open discussion format.

Come to Talk Story with Dr. Tia on Friday, Nov. 22, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The first discussion topic will be effective communication. If you are interested in attending, please email uhwotalk@hawaii.edu.

Mental health services are available for all UH West Oʻahu students. There is no charge and we do not bill insurance. Treatment begins with an intake that helps us formulate a wellness plan tailored to your needs. Don’t wait; email uhwotalk@hawaii.edu today.
