Pueo Pilina student celebration, Feb. 29

A message from the UH West Oʻahu Student Life Center in an email dated Feb. 2:

The Chartered Student Organizations at UH West Oʻahu is proud to host the upcoming student celebration event, Pueo Pilina, set for Thursday, Feb. 29, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Outdoor Learning Space and the Great Lawn.

Student organizations, campus services, academic divisions, and students with small businesses will host tables at the event. This is an opportunity to recruit students for your group or certificate programs, or share the resources you provide. You are welcome to distribute handouts or fundraise with merchandise and food, but understand that there may be limitations and additional paperwork to submit to serve food items.

Any small businesses ranging from crafts to snacks are also highly encouraged to join us! We’d love to showcase the talents of our campus community and support your entrepreneurial ventures! Please note that we are looking to feature businesses run by current UH West Oʻahu students. Additional paperwork may be required to serve food items.

Please let us know if you would like to host a booth at the Pueo Pilina event by Feb. 9 by filling out this Google Form.

We will also call for volunteers. We’ll need help setting up, cleaning up, and staffing different stations. A call for volunteers will be sent closer to the event date. Stay connected with @uhwostudentlife!
