2024-2027 UH Student Basic Needs Master Plan

A message from the UH Office of the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs in an email dated Nov. 25:

On behalf of the UH System Student Basic Needs Committee, the Office of the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs is pleased to share the 2024-2027 UH Student Basic Needs Master Plan. This is the most recent initiative of the system committee which was formed in 2019, is composed of representatives from every campus and the System, and was created to better understand and address food insecurity and other forms of basic needs insecurities among the student population.

The 2024-2027 UH Student Basic Needs Master Plan Needs responds to measured changes in student basic needs insecurity and resource availability since the first master plan (2021-2024). In addition to setting direction for UH Student Basic Needs Committee priorities, goals and programming, the plan also includes specific campus-level priorities and goals to account for their individual campus environment, culture, and resourcing.

Thank you to the UH System Student Basic Needs Committee and all campus partners who are already engaged with implementing the 2024-2027 UH Student Basic Needs Master Plan.
