Carina Chernisky

The youngest of 3 girls, Carina was born on Oʻahu and raised in Mililani. Because both of her parents worked in academia, Carina was taught at an early age that education is fundamental in building a stable life and successful career. After receiving her high school diploma from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, Carina headed to Portland, OR, where she obtained a BA in Communication from Lewis & Clark College, then returned home to earn a Master's in Library & Information Science (MLISc) from UH Mānoa. Carina currently resides in ʻEwa - in her spare time, she enjoys devouring books, playing with her cats, the occasional craft project, and watching tv.
