Dozens of businesses and organizations will look to connect with and recruit University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students at the UH West O‘ahu Career and Internship Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, in C-208.

“Employers from a wide range of industries — including government, defense, healthcare, education, finance, IT, hospitality, transportation, and more — will be at the Career and Internship Fair, offering opportunities for students across all majors,” said Dr. Loea Akiona, Director of Student Development and Career Development at UH West O‘ahu.

Over 50 employers are attending, looking for applicants for a variety of opportunities, including volunteer, internship, part-time, and full-time. Students can see the list of employers at bit.ly/cif-f25-employers.

“Even if you’re not currently seeking a job or internship, this is a valuable chance to explore career options, practice engaging with potential employers, and start preparing for your future in the workforce,” Akiona said. “Take advantage of this opportunity to build confidence, make connections, and gain insights that will help you when the time comes to take that next step.”

The UH West O‘ahu Career and Internship Fair is a collaborative event with the Careers in IT and Cyber Fair, which is part of the Hawai‘i Tech Days series this fall. This event is open to all UH students.
