The theme selected for the 13th FestPAC is Ho‘oulu Lāhui: Regenerating Oceania — ho‘oulu lāhui meaning to grow the nation. The festival’s mission is to strengthen the cultural resilience by cultivating connection, sharing culture and practices, and learning, growing, and adapting to a changing climate, while working together to elevate Pacific Islanders, according to the release.
