Climate change and how it impacts health is the focus of the next Math + Science + X Seminar, “Climate Change and Mauli Ola,” which will explore why physicians should care and what their responsibility is, specific health implications we are facing in Hawai‘i, and how indigenous populations are particularly impacted.

The seminar is from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 13, via Zoom; meeting ID is 916 0881 3693 and passcode is MSXFall23. The presenter is Dr. Marcus Kawika Iwane, a 2023 Climate and Health Equity Fellow through the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health.
