Students can learn how to get involved at UH West Oʻahu at two-day event

Update, Jan. 31: Pueo Involvement Spring 2023 will take place on Jan. 31 at C-208, the Campus Center Multipurpose Room.

University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu students can discover how to make the most of their college experience, make new friends, and develop their leadership at Pueo Involvement Spring 2023, a special event taking place 2 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 30 via Zoom and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 31 on campus.

Presented by the UH West O‘ahu Student Life Center, the two-day event highlights student organizations, programs, and departments.

Organizers said students should join in, connect, and talk story, because connecting with others and being in community with students and staff make the college experience more meaningful and memorable.

The following are details for each day:

Participating groups online include: Papahana Wailau Ola, West O‘ahu Psychology Club (WOPC), The Hoot, Psi Chi, HOSA CLUB, Campus Center Board, West O‘ahu Broadcasting Association (WOBA), Disability Services Office (DSO), Pueo Gaming, and Accounting Club.

PUEO INVOLVEMENT – IN PERSON ON CAMPUS
Tuesday, Jan. 31
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
C-208, the Campus Center Multipurpose Room (the event was originally going to be held at the Outdoor Learning Space)

Participating groups in person include: Papahana Wailau Ola, Ho‘opūliko Kumu Hou, West O‘ahu Psychology Club (WOPC), Ho‘okāpili, The Hoot, Psi Chi, HOSA CLUB, Campus Center Board, West O‘ahu Broadcasting Association (WOBA), Belly Dance, Pueo Gaming, Cru, Hui ‘Ai Pōhaku, Compliance Hui, and UH Office of Public Health.

By participating online or in person (with completion of event card), students will be eligible to win a prize.
