Interested in a career in health but need to be more informed? Meet health care professionals and learn more about UH West Oʻahu health programs at the Health Sector Industry Meet and Greet on Sept. 26. Through a partnership with HMSA, the event organizers intend to bring awareness to the community about UH West Oʻahu’s new and existing health programs for students who will be entering the healthcare industry.

“It is my hope that student event attendees will walk away learning more about the different types of health professions that are available to them here on Oʻahu,” UH West Oʻahu Assistant Professor of Community Health, Camonia Graham-Tutt said. “Students will be able to meet with health career professionals from organizations all over the island to learn about career opportunities.”

The Meet and Greet, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu Multi-purpose room (C208), will also provide students with the opportunity to explore health career options from a variety of organizations and meet employers one-on-one in an informal networking environment. This event is open to all students interested in healthcare, alumni and invited healthcare professionals.
