Satisfactory Progress

To demonstrate satisfactory academic progress, students are expected to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Students who experience difficulty with their course work are encouraged to see their faculty advisor or a Student Services Specialist for assistance and counseling. Students who are placed on Academic Probation will be required to see, or speak with, the Dean of Student Services or a Student Services Specialist for counseling prior to each pre-registration and/or registration period. Registration through the MyUH Portal will be prohibited until the student is in good academic standing. Satisfactory academic progress is required for continued enrollment, as well as to maintain eligibility for financial aid and veteran benefits.

Individuals who are receiving financial aid as full-time students and international students must complete a minimum of 24 credits per academic year, in addition to maintaining a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
