Lecturer (Mathematics)


Lecturer (Mathematics), UH-West Oahu, (General Education), temporary, non-tenure track, part-time, beginning Fall 2008.

Duties: Teach high quality lower division mathematics courses (Math 100 or 103) at our Pearl City or Kapolei location.

Minimum qualifications: Earned master’s degree from a regionally accredited or recognized college or university in mathematics, or a closely related field; and evidence of high quality teaching.

Desirable qualifications: Experience teaching lower division college-level mathematics courses; experience teaching diverse populations; ability to relate math content disciplines across cultures.

Pay range: Commensurate with academic degree and teaching experience; LA-$1263, LB-$1518, or LC-$1774 per credit hour.
